Jennings Imel Western Region Executive Director of United States Chamber of Commerce Jennings Imel is the Executive Director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Western Regional Office. The office is responsible for legislative and political grassroots activities in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii in support of the U.S. Chamber’s national public policy goals. Before joining the U.S. Chamber staff in 2013, Jennings worked in Washington, DC at the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress and at the public affairs firm of Mercury, Clark & Weinstock. Prior to moving to DC, Jennings worked in the California State Assembly; he also managed and worked on several successful congressional and state legislative campaigns, mostly in the Southern California region. Jennings received a master’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in political science and German from the University of California, Riverside. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation, representing more than 300,000 companies, trade associations and chambers of commerce. More than 96% of the Chamber’s business members have 100 or fewer employees.
Claudia Moreno Southern California Outreach Manager at Small Business Majority Claudia Moreno manages Small Business Majority’s outreach, education and policy efforts in the Southern California and Inland Empire/Central California regions. In her role, Claudia develops relationships with both Spanish and English-speaking business organizations and small business owners across the region. Claudia also works closely with both the Deputy Director and California Director on statewide policy efforts. An Inland Empire native herself and the daughter of a small business owner, Claudia is passionate about giving back to her community and working to empower underserved communities of entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Small Business Majority, Claudia worked for Deloitte and PriceWaterhouseCoopers where she coordinated with key stakeholders to better understand business hiring needs. She previously worked at the White House during the Obama Administration in the Executive Office of Presidential Correspondence where she served as an intermediate between the President and the American people. She also took lead in the Office's Spanish Analytical Department as an interpreter to support the President’s vision to serve all communities.
Edward Ornelas Jr. President & CEO of Inland Empire Regional Chamber of Commerce Mr. Edward Ornelas, Jr. is the President & CEO of the Inland Empire Regional Chamber of Commerce. Edward became involved with the IERCC in 2014 when he secured a position as VP of Business Development. In 2016 Edward was promoted to President & CEO by the Regional Chamber's Board of Directors.
