TITLE SPONSOR
The Summit will be the first in a series for Accelerator for America aiming to highlight how local and state governments can best leverage their funds to tap into federal resources and stimulate economic development. This Summit will address the opportunities that will arise as the country transitions to a clean energy economy that is powered by good jobs. Building clean energy infrastructure projects at scale in the Inland Empire (San Bernardino, Riverside, and Imperial Counties) is the way to uphold the commitment made by the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, and President Biden's Justice 40 initiative to ensure 40% of all federal activities and economics shall be invested into the underserved communities of the country. The Summit will discuss other innovative enabling technologies that can help the state achieve climate and energy reliability goals, including wind, solar, zero-emission hydrogen, geothermal, and energy storage advancements.
