Miriam’s passion for the Senior community arises from witnessing how her father struggled to pay for her Grandmothers' medical bills and the high cost of insulin while trying to keep the lights on. While in high school and being the oldest of 5 siblings, Miriam took on spending her afternoons and weekends working to help with medical bills. Due to the lack of knowledge in this matter, Miriam and her Father never knew Medicare Advantage existed and how it could have helped them through that journey. Twelve years ago, when introduced to this industry and as she reflected on the situation with her grandmother, she was able to find her calling in life. The now founder of Mint was able to recognize the impact she could make in other people’s lives by sharing with them what she never knew while her grandmother was still alive. Today, Miriam joyfully continues to carry on with her calling not only in California but nationwide!

Albert began his Medicare career in 2010 as Field Sales Representative for one of the largest Medicare Advantage Plans in the nation. Along the way, he earned many accolades for being the top sales representative in his region. As he further develop in the industry, he promoted to Regional Sales Manager, overseeing external sales teams, and helped hundreds of agents grow their Medicare business. In July of 2022 he retired from the corporate world to become President of Mint Insurance Agency. Mint was established and well ran by his lovely wife since 2017. His experience in the industry and his entrepreneur mindset has taken Mint to new heights. His vision and leadership is set grow Mint furthermore.
