Fiona Ma is California’s 34th State Treasurer. She was elected on November 6, 2018 with more votes (7,825,587) than any other candidate for treasurer in the state's history. She is the first woman of color and the first woman Certified Public Accountant (CPA) elected to the position. The State Treasurer’s Office was created in the California Constitution in 1849. It provides financing for schools, roads, housing, recycling and waste management, hospitals, public facilities, and other crucial infrastructure projects that better the lives of residents. California is the world’s fifth-largest economy and Treasurer Ma is the state’s primary banker. Her office processes more than $2 trillion in payments within a typical year. She provides transparency and oversight for the government’s investment portfolio and accounts, as well as for the state’s surplus funds. Treasurer Ma oversees an investment portfolio of more than $102 billion, approximately $20 billion of which are local government funds. She serves as agent for sale for all State bonds, and is trustee on over $100 billion of outstanding debt.
Elected as mayor in December 2010 and overwhelmingly re-elected in 2014 and 2018, Acquanetta Warren is serving her third term as the mayor of the City of Fontana. Mayor Warren focuses her administrations on bolstering economic development, creating educational opportunities, improving public safety, and advocating for a healthier community.
During her eight years as a councilwoman and now third term as mayor, Warren has spearheaded significant economic growth and infrastructure improvement initiatives, including four reconstructed freeway interchanges resulting in reduced traffic congestion, safer streets, and ease of facilitating the movement of goods throughout San Bernardino County. Ms. Warren has played a critical role in positioning Fontana as a supply chain hub that provides critical goods and services to businesses in the United States and throughout the world.
To continue this economic growth, Mayor Warren began the “Mayor’s Manufacturing Council,” which saw more than 500 women attend the first annual Inland Empire Women in Manufacturing event.
From the day Mayor Warren was inaugurated, she has emphasized that Fontana is “Open for Business” and works directly with the Fontana Chamber of Commerce to support the needs of the business community. This effort was rewarded in 2017 with the City being ranked fourth in California in the five-year annual growth of retail sales. To showcase businesses that call Fontana home, Mayor Warren started a television show titled Open for Business. The segment features local businesses and the services they provide.
Ensuring that every child in Fontana receives the highest level of education and career readiness, Ms. Warren declared a State of Emergency on education in 2019. Since then, she formed the Mayor’s Education Coalition – a network of schools, businesses, and local leaders – committed to preparing students for current and future job and career opportunities after graduation.
Mayor Warren strives to improve public safety. In 2013, Fontana was named one of the top 20 safest communities in the country. Continuing to keep the community safe, the Mayor holds open conversations connecting the community with the police officers that serve to protect them.
Realizing that a strong economy requires a healthy community, Mayor Warren founded the award-winning and model program across the nation, Healthy Fontana. The program promotes an active community lifestyle and teaches smart nutrition choices. Stemming from Healthy Fontana is the Fontana Walks! program. What began as a challenge to the community to cumulatively walk 2 billion steps in 2017 has turned into monthly walks with nearly 9 billion steps taken to date.
Through Mayor Warren’s efforts, the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) named the City of Fontana the number one mid-sized city in the nation for eliminating childhood obesity in 2016.
Ms. Warren has received numerous recognitions and several awards for her efforts on health education, including the Helen Putnam Award of Excellence in 2019 and 2008, the Health Champion Award for Southern California Elected Officials from the California Center for Public Health in 2017, and the California Health & Public Advocacy Health Champion Award in 2015.

As CEO and Founder of Mint Insurance Agency, Miriam Ramos brings clarity and facilitates a better quality of life to those that fuel her passion; Medicare Beneficiaries! It may surprise you that this may include individuals with disabilities and special needs. What is no surprise is this leader’s daily drive for over a decade to service, and provide knowledge at no cost to help beneficiaries attain all possible benefits.
You can find Miriam and her team servicing and enrolling a Medicare beneficiary in the comfort of their home; at your company's next Employee HR benefits meeting, or partnering up with community leaders to provide activities at no cost for the seniors just to mention a few. With over 10,000 individuals turning 65 every day; there is a great need to have a trusted licensed agent service your employees, their parents, and anyone on Medicare around you. Mint can assist your company by identifying how to reduce the cost of insurance for your Medicare-eligible employees. We pride ourselves in providing solutions at your location, and encouraging attendance which can further productivity by keeping your employees informed and with greater peace of mind.
Miriam’s passion for the Senior community arises from witnessing how her father struggled to pay for her Grandmothers' medical bills and the high cost of insulin while trying to keep the lights on. While in high school and being the oldest of 5 siblings, Miriam took on spending her afternoons and weekends working to help with medical bills. Due to the lack of knowledge in this matter, Miriam and her Father never knew Medicare Advantage existed and how it could have helped them through that journey. Twelve years ago, when introduced to this industry and as she reflected on the situation with her grandmother, she was able to find her calling in life. The now founder of Mint was able to recognize the impact she could make in other people’s lives by sharing with them what she never knew while her grandmother was still alive. Today, Miriam joyfully continues to carry on with her calling not only in California but nationwide!

It is pleasant to have this opportunity to introduce myself.
Having served people of all ages since 1982 as a Fiduciary and an Insurance Agent/Broker. Licensed and Certified in nearly all areas of insurance.
I take pleasure in assisting primarily those in California with solving financial problems and simplifying the solutions we all encounter in one way or another whether it those with "HIDDEN TALENTS", others that are strategically planning for their future with the aid of parents, for children, newlyweds, and one's starting new families, single parents, beginning 2nd families and/or those needing help making up for lost time to prepare for savings for a home, retirement and even making the transition into considering the best time for you to begin MEDICARE, Social Security and the transition to begin retiring.
We take the time to determine your plans and desires to assist you select methods now, rather than wait until some sadly face adverse circumstances with no one truly explaining the options and effects until it is too late..
We also enjoy helping you understand your options for various types of Insurance Including Term, Perm, Whole Life, Index Life, Annuities, and many others. Often my clients are amazed to find that what has been taught all of their lives as the "Cheapest" Life Insurance many times are actually the most expensive selections and the one insurance many agents recommended to you, because they get paid the highest commissions instead of what works the best for you.
It is encouraging that we can help you with Pensions and assure the transformations of 401k's and/or IRA's to assure you will not endanger your savings or outlive your savings in your lifetime.
As a Fiduciary I view my primary responsibility is to help you see possible holes in you planning, discovering them at the earliest stage in your life which will enable you the least expensive way to accomplish your goals, now and long term.
