Speakers
Founder & CEO, Samantha Moreno, at the at of 16 years old decided to ACT! She created her nonprofit T.L.P. to promote awareness to the multitudes of military soldiers dealing with a variety of traumas; both mental and physical. She has partnered with local leaders and organizations to develop programs and raise funds to help our HEROES; through purpose-driven activities, retreats, rehabilitation, and job skills. Sam's dream is to one day work alongside these soldiers and devotes her services as a Trauma or a Neuro Orthopedic Surgeon.
Estefan M. Encarnacion is an attorney licensed in California and in the Federal U.S District Court, Central District of California. He has significant experience in the areas of Family Law, Real Estate, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning and Small Business Law. Estefan has personally handled over 750 clients and has 7 years of experience as an attorney. He handles legal matters with expert insight and a commanding knowledge of the law.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Estefan was an Infantry Marine privileged to serve with honor, courage and commitment. He has a passion for justice for his fellow man especially fellow veterans. From 2001-2005 he served as an enlisted infantryman/machine-gunner in the United States Marine Corps. In 2004 he was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received a Purple Heart after being severely wounded in combat.
After being honorably discharged, he has proudly received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Inland Empire. In 2008 he received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology along with a minor in Pre-Med Biology from California State University San Bernardino. In 2012, after being admitted with a merit scholarship, he received his Juris Doctor from University of La Verne College of Law, in Ontario, CA.

What does Veteran's Day mean to Sam...
Veteran's Day is a day in which we ALL should take a moment to appreciate and recognize those who have endured hardships & breaking points and have sacrificed their families & time so that we might have the FREEDOM to live/breathe and be where we are at this very moment. This DAY is also to appreciate our current military and our fallen WARRIORS.
This is very special to Sam, as well as every year for the past 17 years, she has celebrated Veterans Day with her mom, who is also a Veteran. They spend the who day together eating and enjoying all the events the community offers. Throughout the years, Sam has noticed many Veterans sitting alone eating, or hanging out. She wanted a day where the Community could celebrate them. A place they would not be alone to eat. Please join Sam, ThundarLP, and her Community to be with our WARRIORS!
