He comes from the alcohol industry, where he oversaw activations and retail integration for Corporate Partners LA Angels, LA Clippers, LA Dodgers, Anaheim Ducks, LA Kings, LA Lakers, and LA Rams. He also evaluated and negotiated event sponsorship opportunities throughout Southern California.
The native of Alpharetta, GA studied at the University of Florida where he majored in Marketing. Poppell resides in Long Beach, CA with his wife Karissa and daughter Lili.

He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2016 and received his Master's Degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco in 2019. Andrew started his career in corporate partnerships and marketing during his past tenures with the Los Angeles Angels and the Tiger Woods Foundation. He also has worked for various Fortune 500 companies outside of the sports industry.
